About Sommelier Association of Singapore
The Sommelier Association of Singapore is the professional body for sommeliers and wine professionals based in Singapore.
Founded in 2007 by ten hospitality professionals, the Sommelier Association of Singapore (SAS) was established to nurture and advance the sommelier profession in Singapore. Since becoming a full member of the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale (A.S.I.) in 2010, SAS has grown to over 250 active members, including sommeliers, wine professionals, and trade partners. SAS remains a non-profit organisation, and is dedicated to raising the profile of sommelierie. Today, SAS serves as a dynamic platform that promotes excellence in beverage service, fosters industry collaboration, and supports the continued growth of the regional wine community.
